RMW Announces 2015 Associates Appointments

Magdalena Karakova - RMWApril 6, 2015 – RMW architecture & interiors is pleased to announce this year’s appointments to the position of Associate: Magdalena Karakova, Janet Merriman, Traci Vogel, and Kendra Wolf. A 65-person, client-centered design firm, RMW creates responsive environments that serve the needs of today’s innovative workplaces across multiple sectors. Our success is a result of the people who work at the firm and their passion for excellence.

 

Magdalena Karakova, LEED AP BD+C, joined RMW in 2007 as an experienced architectural designer. Her work on the first two buildings for the new Juniper Networks campus, where she was in charge of the exterior skin detailing, helped the projects achieve LEED Gold and LEED Platinum certification, and led to a Ceramics of Italy Tile Design Competition Honorable Mention. Magdalena is dedicated to design as a way to positively impact people’s lives, and her technical versatility enhances RMW’s capabilities.

people-merrimanJanet Merriman, IIDA, LEED AP, is Studio Director of Business Development at RMW architecture & interiors. With RMW since 2011, Janet has been instrumental in the firm’s success in achieving new business opportunities in the technology, science, and industrial sectors. Janet participates in shaping RMW’s strategic direction and supports firm-wide marketing and BD initiatives. With a professional background in interior design, she also provides workplace strategy and change management for RMW’s clients. She is active in CREW, CoreNet, and the IIDA.

Traci Vogel joined RMW in 2012 and, as Communications Manager, leads RMW’s marketing communications efforts. She has guided major initiatives including the firm’s website redesign, social media strategy, and CRM implementation. Her expertise includes strategic communications, branding, writing and editing, and online media. She serves as Co-Director of the Society for the Marketing of Professional Services, San Francisco Chapter Communications Committee.

ES_140610_Wolf-Kendra_600x400Kendra Wolf, NCIDQ, joined RMW in 2011 as an interior designer focusing on commercial offices. Kendra has cultivated an expertise in furniture solutions and how they shape the office landscape. Her design influence can be seen in RMW’s dynamic and award-winning solutions for clients such as Google, Navis, and Brocade Communications. She loves that “each and every day is different, since no two projects are the same. Each project presents new challenges, accomplishments, and relationships.”
