RMW architecture & interiors, a San Francisco-based architectural firm with studios in San Jose and Sacramento, is proud to announce this year’s appointments to the position of Associate: Tom Tessier, Sal Wikke, and Cheree Onufer.

Tom Tessier, IIDA, NCIDQ, is a Senior Interior Designer at RMW architecture & interiors with expertise in commercial offices and tenant development. A graduate of the Academy of Art University’s Interior Architecture & Design program, Tom joined RMW in 2011. He has since contributed to the success of such marquee projects as Market Square in San Francisco, which was featured in Architectural Record. Tom’s work on the planning and design of commercial offices comes from a belief that the workplace environment can inspire us to greater innovation, collaboration, and wellbeing.

Sal Wikke, IIDA, NCIDQ, LEED AP ID+C, joined RMW architecture & interiors in 2010 as an Interior Designer focusing on commercial offices. His design influence can been seen in RMW’s vibrant solutions for the Jive Software headquarters in Palo Alto and the LSI Headquarters in San Jose. A graduate of San Jose State University’s Interior Design BFA program, Sal gives back by guest lecturing at SJSU and is involved in his local IIDA chapter. He draws inspiration from his dance background, which gives him a tangible sense of how people will move through the spaces he designs.

Cheree Onufer joined RMW architecture & interiors in 2005 and is the firm’s Controller. Cheree is in charge of billing, payroll, and accounts receivable, and also assists the CFO with the firm’s financials. Cheree’s accounting expertise is the bedrock of RMW’s reputation for efficient and reliable services.
