RMW architecture & interiors debuts on Architect magazine’s list of the nation’s top 50 architecture firms at #45. The “Architect 50,” as the list is called, was instituted in 2009 and ranks firms on how rigorously they practice business, design, and sustainability. We are proud to be recognized for our commitment to these aspects of practice, but we are especially proud of our achievements in sustainable design, for which we ranked #18 overall, nationwide.

RMW’s stated mission is to “create inspired human environments through the power of responsible design.” To us, “responsible design” means recognizing that the built environment has the power to change the world and affect lives in meaningful and specific ways. Our goal for every project, regardless of size or scope, is to shape a healthy, engaging environment that delights our clients. To that end, we incorporate research and applications from Architecture 2030, the U.S. Green Building Council, the Living Building Challenge, and, increasingly, the WELL Building Standard, to find sensible and effective solutions.

Our practice focuses on designing places to work precisely because we believe in the significance of work itself. We’ve survived for 45 years not on our egos or on the trendiest technologies, but because we love what we do, and we find inspiration in our clients. It’s great to be validated for these practices, and we look forward to continuing to rise in the ranks as a result of our collaborations with you.
