Stan Lew Quoted in Greenwire Piece

RMW architecture & interiors Principal Stan Lew, AIA, LEED AP, is quoted in a September 11, 2013 Greenwire article about the growing prevalence of “2030 Districts.” The article, entitled “As federal policy stalls, downtown owners unite to reduce cities’ power use” [paywall] discusses the use of districts to establish energy reduction targets for building owners and managers. The targets are based on the 2030 Challenge for Planning issued by Architecture 2030. Lew, who is chairing efforts to establish a 2030 District in San Francisco, points to the value of the districts in connecting local efforts to a national platform. Currently, 2030 Districts exist in Seattle, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Los Angeles. For more information, visit the 2030 District website.
