Where did you go to school?
I started my college education at the University of California Irvine as a civil engineering major specializing in structures. After earning my bachelor’s degree and working within the engineering field for three years, I made the decision to switch to architecture and received a Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Washington in Seattle.
What do you like about the firm?
Post-graduation, I landed a position at RMW Architecture and Interiors where I am proud to say that I launched my architecture career. RMW has provided a supportive and challenging platform for me to expand my craft and continue learning.
What do you do at RMW?
My responsibilities at RMW are wide ranging and including design, 3D modeling, diagramming, documenting, construction administration, and coordination.
Why did you decide to go into architecture/interior design?
In many ways, my experience at RMW aligns itself with the reasons I chose to be an architect. I wanted to create and problem solve in a fluid environment that would expand my knowledge about the world around me. It is this yearning for understanding that motivates me as a person even beyond the workplace.
