With pencil in hand since primary school, Ahmed entertained himself drawing portraits and caricatures of friends and teachers, which occasionally got him into trouble with an unwilling subject. This pastime developed into talent that led him to pursue a career in which the act of drawing became a portal to the built environment.
A native of Egypt, Ahmed has traveled throughout the world, capturing a broad range of cultures, styles, and traditions with his camera. He credits his design aesthetic to the breadth and diversity of his experience. After earning his bachelor’s degree in architecture in Egypt, Ahmed continued his education in the United States, achieving his Master of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. Focused and hardworking, he is a dependable team leader.
