Auburn, California | industrial & manufacturing

How do you get manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, office, and public meeting spaces to synchronize for great results?

This one-story corporate headquarters on a 21-acre hillside site comfortably accommodates a number of very dissimilar uses. How? By honoring both unity and diversity, separation and connection. On the one hand, each zone of the 63,000-square-foot building is architecturally distinct. For instance, offices are located under a dramatic vaulted metal roof, while the manufacturing/assembly area features split face block and faceted glass. On the other hand, exterior colors and the structure’s curving planes bring everything together and blend in with the sloping landscape.
