On Friday, October 18, 2018, the Silicon Valley Business Journal and The Registry SF announced that Apple signed an industrial lease in Milpitas. The 313,978 SF location is Building A of the 804,106 SF McCarthy Creekside Industrial Center, design by RMW Principal Jeff Leonhardt. The project, featured in the January 2018 issue of Construction Today, includes five industrial structures with a 6,015 SF retail building and sits on the former McCarthy ranch.

On Thursday, October 11, 2018, the Sacramento Business Journal announced that Apple purchased a one-story, 24,400-square-foot building at 2216 Kausen Drive in the Elk Grove. Also designed by Jeff Leonhardt of our Sacramento Studio, Laguna West Business Center is a master planned business park on 11 acres with a variety of flexible structures, ranging in size from 31,150 square feet to 57,225 square feet. The location is the previous home of DeVry University and is a block from Apple’s current distribution center.
