Denise Darrin, RMW’s new Workplace Strategist in San Francisco.

For over two decades, Denise Darrin has been refining her problem solving acumen on a diverse portfolio of commercial interiors projects, ranging in scale from 8,000 SF – 120,000 SF. Her innate curiosity and passion for unearthing nuance in a firm’s structure have led workplace design to transform workplace culture for clients including Salesforce, Fitbit, Prologis, Verizon, and Adobe. In her previous roles as Designer and Project Manager, Denise’s understanding of the multigenerational workplace has fueled communication, design, and change management for firms at various stages of growth.

When I started out there were no workplace strategists; you just did it – programming, reimagining odds, and ends, working to understand clients, what they thought the problem was, and what it actually was. It wasn’t until later that workplace strategy roles were defined. I’ve always done it! I’ve always loved it!” Denise said. RMW President, Russ Nichols added “we are truly excited to have Denise as an integral part of our interiors team. Integrating her skillful approach to workplace solutions will enhance what we do and further differentiate our interiors practice and service to our clients.”

Denise earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She has contributed to articles in Work Design Magazine, Café Design, and Architectural Digest.
