Aleksandar Rakicevic-More
AIA
Alek has been drawn to architecture from an early age, often sketching imagined buildings and landscapes inspired by history and observation. That early curiosity developed into a lasting interest in how spaces are composed, experienced, and shaped by their surroundings. His design approach balances intuition with careful consideration of proportion, materiality, and constructability, emphasizing clarity and coherence from overall form to detail. As someone who believes that everything worth doing is worth being done well, Alek values architecture that prioritizes the human experience, responds thoughtfully to its surroundings, and is conceived with long-term use and aging in mind.
A graduate of Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, Alek also studied abroad in China, Italy, Germany, and Argentina, experiences that exposed him to a wide range of architectural traditions and cultural contexts. As an architectural designer, he enthusiastically contributes to collaborative project teams, helping develop clear, well-resolved design solutions aligned with client goals, schedules, and budgets. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, drawing, spending time in nature, and engaging with film and other creative pursuits.
