Where did you go to school?

I got my undergraduate degree in Architecture at the Goa University College of Architecture in India, after which I moved to LA to complete a Master’s Program at the University of California, Los Angeles.

What do you do at RMW?

I am a Junior designer.

What do you like about the firm?

The people; and this seems to be a consistent feeling across the firm. The people at RMW are what makes the firm such a great place to work. Being here gives me the opportunity to learn from experienced and talented individuals that are always ready to help and mentor, with great attitudes that make you feel like family.

What do you do outside the firm?

I love being outdoors! I grew up in the tropical coastal state of Goa India, which is lined with beaches along the coast (great for watersports – sailing and windsurfing) and has a lot of forests inland. I love to travel and experience new places – going on road trips, hiking, and camping. I also have a passion for the arts and crafts where I can use my hands to create and build things. Drawing, woodworking, and fabrication projects are something I would agree to sleepless nights for.

What is your favorite building or space?

Anywhere in nature is my favorite space. The redwood forests in California with their towering trees, the slot canyons and rock formations in Utah, the beach and the ocean with its vastness, tropical rainforests and the variety of life forms they house. Nature and natural formations fill me with so much awe and wonder, it’s hard to beat.
