RMW Announces New San Francisco Studio Hires

RMW architecture & interiors welcomes four new hires to our San Francisco Studio this month:

Nnamdi Ihemelu, Associate AIA, joins RMW as a Junior Architectural Designer. Nnamdi spent the past three years working in Starbucks’ store design department. He was drawn to RMW by the firm’s architectural work, which he says “speaks for itself.” Nnamdi holds a Master of Architecture from the Academy of Art University, and is skilled in Autocad, Revit, and Sketchup.

Marilou “Malou” Gurtiza Denum, LEED AP BD+C, brings more than eight years of experience in retail and office tenant improvement projects to her new position as Job Captain – Interiors at RMW. Malou sees her new position as an opportunity to do more on-site work, performing field observation, construction administration, and collaborating one-on-one with clients. Expert in Revit, Autocad, and Sketchup, Malou is a registered architect in the Philippines, where she grew up.

Jenna Szczech joins RMW as a Junior Designer – Interiors. Jenna, who holds a Bachelors in Interior Architecture Design from the University of California, Davis, brings an active interest in commercial office design’s relationship to culture and collaboration to her new position. She uses Sketchup to communicate design ideas, and is skilled in Autocad and Revit for documentation.

John Ferguson is RMW’s new Marketing Specialist. With a background in marketing for a general contracting firm and advertising consumer goods for the health industry, John has a keen talent for blending graphic design and messaging. He will be leading the firm’s efforts on marketing proposals.
