SAN FRANCISCO, CA, February 1, 2018 – RMW architecture & interiors is pleased to welcome our new Director of Interiors, award-winning interior designer, Hakee Chang CID, LEED AP. Following extensive experience in London, New York, and the Bay Area, Hakee brings his innovative, creative and emotive design solutions to lead the San Francisco studio’s interiors practice with a focus on workplace design.
“Workplace design provides opportunities for me to exercise the creative muscle.” It is uniquely positioned to inform trends, while elevating design solutions for our clients in developing an impactful space with meaningful experiences. The breadth and complexity of Hakee’s projects include technology, corporate, retail, healthcare, gallery and bio-pharmaceutical. When asked “why RMW?” Hakee responded, “The integrity and quality of RMW. The body of work in multiple industries has always been consistently strong, but at the end of the day I’m joining a group of passionate and talented people. There’s a real sense of family here, where people genuinely enjoy and have fun with each other. That is rare.”
Hakee earned a Master of Architecture from Columbia University after completing his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture at the University of California, Berkeley. His work has been published in Interior Design, Entrepreneurs, Building Design + Construction, Co.Design Magazine, SF Chronicle Lifestyle, and WorkDesign Magazine.
