Where did you go to school?

Montana State University, Billings, Montana

What do you do at RMW?

Job Captain for Architecture. I work on a variety of projects types; from new tilt-up construction to TI/rehab of existing spaces, and on all aspects of the project including initial Planning submittals, to final CD’s and CA.

What do you like about the firm?

Everything!! 😊  The people I work with are great, and the type of work we do is impressive. I did not have much exposure to “design work” with previous firms, so I enjoy being able to strengthen that area of my skillset. When viewing RMW projects on the website I was impressed that the entire team was listed for each project, not only principals and designers. To me, that showed how the firm recognizes and values everyone’s contribution. I was also drawn to the diversity of people employed here, and how highly each spoke of the firm regardless of what studio they were in.

What do you do outside the firm?

I love spending time with my wife and daughter, watching movies, joking and laughing. I enjoy drawing portraits when time allows, and whenever possible, an occasional game of chess.

What is your favorite building or space?

I don’t have a specific space or building that is a favorite. I enjoy all types of architecture from the craftmanship of the “old school” buildings to the more modern mix of materials and how they complement each other.
