Lund Construction’s new headquarters is more than a place to work—it’s a physical reflection of the company’s identity, growth, and future. As a civil construction firm specializing in earthwork and underground utilities, Lund needed a space that could operate as hard as they do, while also reinforcing their evolving brand.

The design responds to that challenge with clarity and purpose. Taking inspiration from Lund’s rebranding, the architecture uses the company’s new logo to inform the exterior form. The resulting L-shaped footprint isn’t just visually distinctive—it supports site logistics and operational flow, maximizing functionality on a sloped, utility-heavy lot.

The headquarters is divided into three core program areas: a two-story office for admin and project management teams, a large warehouse for vehicle and equipment storage, and a separate maintenance building with service bays, wash stations, and a fueling canopy. Together, these components create a self-sufficient campus tailored to the needs of a busy construction fleet.

Site strategy plays a vital role. Grading and drainage solutions—including underground concrete vaults—help manage stormwater while preserving yard space for materials, storage, and staging. Circulation paths are engineered to accommodate heavy truck traffic without disrupting office access.

Inside, the material palette bridges rugged performance with warm, authentic design. Polished concrete floors, LVT in high-traffic areas, natural wood accents, and a corten steel reception desk bring a refined industrial aesthetic to the workplace—all echoing the company’s ethos of durability and craft.

Every element of the project, from layout to materiality, supports Lund’s operations and brand. The new headquarters stands as a proud, hard-working symbol of a company built to last.
