Located within our client’s Palo Alto campus, this 20,033 sf expansion advances the firm’s evolving workplace standards while supporting a more traditional, privacy-focused program. The client sought a highly efficient office environment that prioritized headcount, adaptability, and discretion without sacrificing brand identity or employee experience.

The resulting workplace is defined by flexibility, operational efficiency, and long-term resilience. A 7-inch raised access floor, introduced as a new FinTech workplace standard, provides adaptable power and data infrastructure, enabling future reconfiguration with minimal disruption. A carefully balanced mix of private offices, benching neighborhoods, and interior “patios” and “porches” accommodates focused work while fostering informal collaboration and connection.

Thoughtful design interventions enrich the daily workplace experience. Environmental graphics inspired by the surrounding ridgelines and trail networks establish a strong sense of place, while hydration pantries and porch spaces introduce moments of color, comfort, and respite. Refined detailing, including acoustic elements, seamless flooring transitions, and integrated storage solutions, addresses common workplace challenges related to privacy, flexibility, and visual clutter.
