Autodesk University 2025 gathered innovators from across the AEC industry to explore how digital platforms, AI, and data integration are transforming the way we design and deliver projects. RMW’s team, including Brian Diercks, Michael Thomas, Nelly Paz, Orchid Rahebi and Kari Collins-Hignight attended the conference to gain insight into the latest advancements and to exchange ideas with peers leading the evolution of digital practice.
A highlight of the conference was RMW BIM Manager, Brian Diercks, a panelist on Rethinking Sustainability Through Building Practice, a discussion on the “details” behind successful firm-wide technology adoption. His presentation focused on the processes that make those tools effective—emphasizing communication, shared accountability, and cross-team alignment as the foundation of digital success.
For Brian, the key takeaway was clear: innovation depends on people as much as technology. He encouraged firms to build strong internal champions and adopt simple, day-one strategies that make digital literacy accessible to everyone. His insights resonated with attendees looking for practical, scalable ways to strengthen their workflows.
Throughout the conference, RMW’s team explored sessions on Autodesk Forma, ACC Cloud, and AI integration—tools that promise new levels of efficiency and design intelligence. Autodesk University 2025 reaffirmed RMW’s commitment to continuous learning and digital evolution. As new technologies emerge, the firm remains focused on creating meaningful connections between people, process, and design—advancing the craft of architecture through smarter, more collaborative ways of working.
