The design objective for 555 Mission Tower’s new amenity center was clear: create a hospitality-forward environment that welcomes new tenants while enticing existing tenants back to the office. The vision merged the warmth of a boutique hotel with the energy of a contemporary workplace, aligning with the ownership group’s goal of elevating a prominent Class-A tower. The result is a space that is both functional and refined—deeply connected to the building’s architecture and its South of Market and Transbay neighborhood context.

A Reimagined Arrival
Situated on the second floor, the amenity suite redefines the tower’s arrival sequence. Destination elevators were reprogrammed to stop here, ensuring the level became a natural hub for the building community. Upon arrival, tenants are welcomed by a concierge and a lounge anchored by built-ins sofas, and flexible dining-style seating. Daily conveniences are layered in through a coffee bar and grab-and-go market, while a striking wine locker system offers private tenant storage and a touch of exclusivity.

Social & Professional Balance
The lounge flows seamlessly into a multifunctional zone with games and casual seating, complemented by a large conference suite with its own pre-function space to support professional gatherings. Extensive tenant engagement shaped the programming, resulting in a layered mix of amenities: a country-club-inspired fitness center with saunas and recovery zones, a mothers’ room, a flexible suite for training and events, and even a golf simulator.

Culinary & Cultural Experience
A food and beverage program curated by Wolfgang Puck infuses the suite with culinary credibility, shifting effortlessly from daytime service to private evening events. Facing the plaza, the amenity lounge and bar are bathed in natural light and views, enhanced by a living green wall and curated public art installations.

The New Heart of the Tower
More than just an amenity floor, the second level has become the tower’s vibrant social core—a place of connection, wellness, and belonging that strengthens tenant engagement and redefines the identity of 555 Mission Tower.
