The new building planned at 901 S California Street located in Palo Alto provides state-of-the-art flexible laboratory and office space in the heart of Silicon Valley. Located within the Stanford Research Park, the 56,694 square foot building responds to its context of commercial and residential uses with quiet confidence. The building is sited to the west of existing heritage Southern Magnolia trees that grace the frontage along California Street. Clad in earth tone terra cotta panels, the building integrates into the neighborhood to provide a robust environment for science and discovery while acknowledging its residential and commercial neighbors with its form, massing, and punctuated transparency.
