At RMW, design extends beyond the built environment, encompassing a responsibility to care for the natural systems and public spaces that shape how communities live, gather, and thrive.

On Saturday, May 16, our team partnered with the California State Parks Foundation for a Volunteer Day, contributing directly to the organization’s mission to protect, improve, and advocate for California’s state parks. These efforts support accessible, well-maintained outdoor spaces for all Californians, today and for future generations.

From restoration work along the coast in Half Moon Bay to projects at parks across the state, RMW volunteers engaged in hands-on work that reflects a deeper commitment to environmental stewardship.  Earth Day isn’t a standalone event, it’s an ongoing practice embedded in how we work, design, and engage with the world around us.
