Cadence Campus

For nearly three decades, our partnership with Cadence has shaped the evolution of its San Jose campus into a dynamic workplace environment that reflects both the company’s innovation and its people-first culture. What began with targeted tenant improvements has grown into a comprehensive reimagining of the campus—one building at a time—while maintaining a holistic vision for how employees and visitors experience the site as a whole.

Each building tells a unique story. Building 5, home to the executive team, was completely transformed into a light-filled, collaborative environment anchored by an executive briefing center that communicates Cadence’s brand in bold, contemporary ways. Building 9 incorporates a strong central gathering space that connects employees to each other and to the larger campus, while Building 8 consolidates labs into a highly functional first floor, supporting technical work alongside flexible office space. Building 7 integrates the company’s IT hub and Tech Stop, designed to serve every employee on campus.

Together, these projects reflect a larger workplace shift—from high-paneled, enclosed workstations of the 1990s to open, connected, and collaborative spaces that prioritize natural light, flexibility, and wellness. The result is a campus that not only supports how Cadence works today but is adaptable for how it will innovate tomorrow.
